Prototype Development

Prototype Development is an important stage in the Structured Design Process. It helps to reduce product development risk and to contain project costs. Depending on the complexity of the project, one or more prototypes can be developed in a series of incremental and iterative steps. Each iterative prototype is based on the previous prototype's performance, bugs, defects and design errors.

The Prototype stage is the point when the features and benefits developed in Business Plan are turned into a product. This is usually done relatively quickly, in order to gain immediate feedback from users of a physical product. The prototyping process has several benefits including: the ability to visualize what the final product will look, behave and feel like, the early detection of design errors, facilitation of communication between developers and their customers, and the facilitation of lab and early field testing.

Emfinity has the capacity to quickly develop prototypes, including electronic circtuit board design and mechical solid modelling. Emfinity's experience base includes circuit board desin and maufactuing, physcal solid modelling, and inection mold tooling design
