Peer Review

Throughout the Structured Design Process, peer reviewing provides a check and measure on the various outputs of the process. This ensures collaboration and successful handoffs from one stage to another. Typically, each member of the product development team focuses on a specific aspect of the process. At various stages, each team member provides outputs that contribute to other members' deliverables. Peer Review stimulates open discussion around product requirements, features, priorities, schedules and budgets.

Where the process encourages collaboration through Peer Review, each member has a specific role and decision authority around their deliverable. At the same time the team contributes to the entire process, contributing as needed to other member's outputs.
