Ethernet Switching
Rail PoE Ethernet Switch
The EMF-ESW01 is an unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch that
supports power delivery using the 802.3af Power over Ethernet
(PoE) standard.
Power Over Ethernet
The EMF-ESW01 will transmit power, along with data, over an
Ethernet network and is ideal choice for supporting any Emfinity or
third party PoE field device.
Power over Ethernet is used to power PoE capable devices where
running an AC power feed is either not possible or cost effective.
This feature allows a wireless access point, network camera or any
other PoE capable device without the need for running separate
cabling for power.
The EMF-ESW01 has been specifically designed for industrial
applications, and is able to deliver over 30 watts to a power to a
powered device, twice the power capability of a standard switch.
Ethernet Switching
The EMF-ESW01 industrial Ethernet switch is designed to solve
the most demanding industrial communications requirements by
providing high throughput and minimum downtime.
Specific features of the switch increase performance in an
industrial environment. The ability to learn 2048 MAC addresses
ensures that even a small switch can handle a large network. As
well, the 802.1p priority queing enhances real time performance
and voice quality on loaded networks.
